The CARBAZYMES project involves 14 organizations specialized in different but complementary fields.
Moreover, the consortium is diverse in terms of sectorial representation in which large multinational companies, some SMEs, national research institutions and universities work together. Due the variability and complexity of the consortium a well defined management structure is required (outlined below) to ensure the success of management and coordination.
Prof. Wolf-Dieter Fessner on behalf of the Technische Universität Darmstadt (TUDA), as the Coordinator of the project, acts as liaison between the Consortium and the European Commission. He has long-term experience in the planning and coordination of publicly funded international research programs, and is the Grant Holder of the EU funded COST CM1303 action. TUDA as a whole has successfully participated in 78 projects funded under FP7, in 11 of which it acted as the coordinator.
